Description

The Sphinx 03 Magnetic is an outstanding waterproof pinpointer with greater detection range than the Garrett AT Pro-Pointer AT. This version features discrimination as well as a built-in non-removable rechargeable battery.

After three years of use, I can say with complete confidence that this is the most refined pinpointer on the market — and also the most durable. Zero problems, zero warranty claims, plus incredibly simple and intuitive operation through a smartphone app. It’s also worth mentioning the ability to check the battery level while still having no display, which is usually the weakest point of heavily used handheld tools.

When did I last charge it? I honestly don’t know — it’s the same as with the 02 version powered by a 9V battery. Very similar experience. A brilliant design. I wouldn’t switch to anything else.

It features multiple audio operating modes, a lost-alarm function, a new type of audio response, and a night flashlight. Available in red color. Performance calibration is also possible, along with a battery level indicator.
